When you’re attacked by CAIR, you know your music fires up some passion.
Stuck Mojo has been the pre-eminent band in the anti-Jihadi genre. In fact, they may have invented that category. If they didn’t, they certainly are the kings with such videos as “Open Season” and “I’m American.

Stuck Mojo excites love and fury, not only with their music, but with their viewpoint. The blog, Passionate America, posted a video remix of “Open Season” and was attacked by CAIR. From the original post:

On January 5th I posted a remixed video, Stuck Mojo, Open Season – CAIR remix with For The Cause Of Allah intro (video). Who could have guessed CAIR (or as I like to call them Counsel of Anti-Americanism and Islamic Retaliations) would scream ISLAMOPHOBIA and attack Stuck Mojo?

This was covered by, among others, Little Green Footballs. At any rate, about three months ago, Mojo re-surfaced on YouTube with the above video and reaction was split down the middle: it received 321 comments, 160 of them favoring the video.

We favor the Mojo men ourselves and though the video’s been out a few months,( diggs only had one story I could find in their search about it, that one being the YouTube release)it’s certainly relevant today.

Enjoy the video. Enjoy it for the message if you’re on the Right. Enjoy it for the best metal-rap combination since Zac De Le Roca and Rage Against the Machine was shilling for trendy liberal causes if you’re on the Left.

The Leather Last Supper.
Just another thing they don’t have in Utah. Or most anywhere else in the USA.
Today’s Folsom Street Fair, held in the streets of San Francisco, sparked a spate of news this week. The biggest item was Miller Brewing pulling it’s support of it’s advertising on a promotional poster for the event that featured, what might be styled, “The Gay Last Supper”.

Responding to pressure from Christian groups, the Miller Brewing Co. is asking organizers of a “gay” street celebration in San Francisco to remove its logo from a promotional poster portraying Jesus Christ and his disciples as “half-naked homosexual sadomasochists.”

Folsom Street Fair is a part of Leather Week in San Francisco, the capital of public gayness in the United States. With no innuendo intended, Miller was caught between a rock and hard place. Or more accurately, between thousands of beer-swilling gays and thousands of beer-partaking Christians. In a press release that should be immortalized in the “INEPT Hall of Fame”, Miller placated neither group and provided inspiration to corporate PR wienies everywhere.

In a statement on its website, Miller said while it has “supported the Folsom Street Fair for several years, we take exception to the poster the organizing committee developed this year.”

“We understand some individuals may find the imagery offensive and we have asked the organizers to remove our logo from the poster effective immediately,” the company said.

Folsom was also news fodder earlier in the week when House Speaker Nancy Pelosi(D-CA) reacted to the Gay Supper ad.

Asked to respond to a San Francisco “gay”-festival’s promo mocking the Last Supper of Jesus Christ, the chief spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered a dismissive quip.

“As a Catholic, the speaker is confident that Christianity has not been harmed,” said Drew Hammill, the San Francisco Democrat’s press secretary.

No word if Ms. Pelosi issued the statement ala burqua.No word either on whether the spokesman would have worn a head scarf if the gays at Folsom had threatened Israeli civilians. And lastly, they used to be called “normal, church-going folks”; now they are labeled “Christian activists”.

The ‘Christian activist’ issued a statement of his own. It was rumored that he had refused offers to issue it in either leather or a burqua.

“In one of the most appalling displays of gross disregard for the safety of young children, the San Diego City School system allowed a number of small children to march inside of the San Diego Gay Pride parade under the banner of one of its schools,” he said.

Busy week for both the God-fearing and the leather freaks.

Americans might be forgiven if they are suffering from Outrage Fatigue Syndrome. What would seem outrageous just 30 years ago is now promoted with corporate sponsorship. What was once forbidden is now celebrated. Christians in the San Francisco area might be examined, what with almost daily affronts to their faith, to see if they suffer from masochism.

In that case, San Francisco might just be the best place to live.

Tensions rising, arms in Afghanistan from Iran seized, and now–news of a secret U.S. Air Force team preparing a strike against Iran. Another of the rumors of war certainly, but this rumor supplies names, dates, places and detailed plans of a ‘Project Checkmate’.

THE United States Air Force has set up a highly confidential strategic planning group tasked with “fighting the next war” as tensions rise with Iran.

Project Checkmate, a successor to the group that planned the 1991 Gulf War’s air campaign, was quietly reestablished at the Pentagon in June.

The article goes on: Detailed contingency planning for a possible attack on Iran has been carried out for more than two years by Centcom (US central command), according to defence sources.

It is led by Brigadier-General Lawrence “Stutz” Stutzriem, who is considered one of the brightest air force generals. He is assisted by Dr Lani Kass, a former Israeli military officer and expert on cyberwarfare.

In a free society, it’s hard to keep a secret. And irregardless of ravings on the Left about the impending demise of the American Republic, the United States is still a free society. News of Project Checkmate is proof of this, should any be needed. A “secret project” written up in one of the world’s largest papers is a project that isn’t very secret.

The U.S. military is preparing for what may possibly be a war in the very near future. It’s what they’re expected to do. The press digs to uncover news, and these days, even news that may prove detrimental to a nation’s defense. It’s what they’re expected to do. The anti-war bed-wetters scream that America is Nazi Nation. And that’s what we’ve come to expect them to do.

Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran’s Plan:TIPTOE THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE U.S.-IRANIAN MINE FIELD

Some on the Right suggest, “Bomb Iran!”. Anti-war Leftists reply, “Give peace a chance, and anyway, America is evil!” Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran spoke of another solution to the nagging problem of a nuclear Islamic Republic.

Last week Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran who lives in exile from his homeland once again outlined his views on defusing the unprecedented danger threatening his country and world peace. He has expressed these views before but as the menace of confrontation with the Iranian regime looms increasingly heavier, the relevance and urgency of Reza Pahlavi’s appeal is becoming more apparent.

In an article published in Le Monde dated 21 September 2007 he points to a third way of encountering the regime in Tehran which is neither violent military attack nor appeasement.

According to Reza Pahlavi what can save Iran and the world from disaster is a synergy between the democratic struggle from inside the country on the one hand and the will of international community on the other. The regime needs to be crippled from within and isolated from without. Economic sanctions together with political pressure should be the focus of the international efforts and not preparation for a military attack.

The Iranian people’s concerns, the Prince insists, are not building a nuclear capability, smuggling IEDs into Iraq or blowing up U.S. troops there. Their worries are more immediate.

The priority of Iranians who are submitted to relentless oppression and persecution of a brutal dictatorship is not how to respond to the nuclear challenge or to fight the adventurous foreign policy of the Islamic Republic. Issues of vital importance to Iranian people right now are daily violations of human rights, growing poverty and unemployment and the absence of liberty. He writes:

The prince, the IranPressNews states, is more popular back home than any opposition figure currently. Of course, popular opposition figures residing in Iran end up as dead opposition figures.

As news of Pahlavi’s plan grows, it’s likely to be attacked; perhaps by his father’s old bane, former U.S. President Jimmy Carter. Unless the prince is prepared to condemn Israel or utter some kind words for Hamas. The closer Iran’s mullahs come to acquiring a nuclear capability, the more U.S. and world opinion grows polarized.

It may be that a solution is found between the two extremes. But time grows short, as more people choose sides between the Bombers and the Peaceniks.

Iran Names CIA "Terrorist Organization"A NEW PLAYER IN THE WAR on TERROR

The Terrorist Designation market is getting crowded. With its economy in shambles, Iran has sought to muscle it’s way into a domain usually reserved for the United States, the country which had 3000 of its citizens murdered in one incident. From the AP

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – Iran’s parliament on Saturday approved a nonbinding resolution labeling the CIA and the U.S. Army “terrorist organizations,” in apparent response to a Senate resolution seeking to give a similar designation to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

The hard-line dominated parliament cited U.S. involvement in dropping nuclear bombs in Japan in World War II, using depleted uranium munitions in the Balkans, Afghanistan and Iraq, supporting the killings of Palestinians by Israel, bombing and killing Iraqi civilians, and torturing terror suspects in prisons.

Iran’s parliment, taking their cue from TheDailyKOS and the American Left, is interested in scrutinizing past American history through the eyes of the present and condemning the United States.

“The aggressor U.S. Army and the Central Intelligence Agency are terrorists and also nurture terror,” said a statement by the 215 lawmakers who signed the resolution at an open session of the Iranian parliament. The session was broadcast live on state-run radio.

It isn’t known yet Iran’s position on the storming of another country’s embassy, taking foreign diplomats hostage, threatening nuclear annihilation and advocating extermination of particular religious groups. A good guess would be that no statements on these activites are planned.
